Not only was the plot hilarious and fascinating, but it also did an amazing job at highlighting the struggles of being a black American family in modern society.

The show follows the Johnson family as they navigate their way through life and raise their children in a world where race, gender roles, and societal norms are constantly shifting. It’s a journey that can make you laugh, cry, and think about your own life.
