My Experience for Doctor Who: The Matt Smith Collection

Ray Cooley

My love affair with Doctor Who started when I first watched Matt Smith take on the iconic role of The Doctor. Little did I know how much he was going to change my life. From his floppy hair and bowtie to his catchphrases and quirky mannerisms, Matt Smith quickly became my favorite Doctor.

So when I stumbled upon Doctor Who: The Matt Smith Collection, I was ecstatic! Finally, I could watch all of his adventures in one place!

The collection contains all eleven episodes from two incredible series – Series 5 and 6 – as well as an impressive array of special features including commentary, behind-the-scenes featurettes, deleted scenes and more. Plus, there are also exclusive interviews with Matt Smith and other cast members, so you get to hear more about their individual stories.

But what really made this collection stand out for me was the fact that it allowed me to relive some of my favorite Doctor Who moments over and over again. Whether it was watching him battle alien foes or saving Earth from certain destruction (or both!), I found myself captivated by each episode.

If you’re a fan of Doctor Who, then you owe it to yourself to get your hands on Doctor Who: The Matt Smith Collection. It’s an amazing way to experience the magic of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor one more time!

What I don’t Like

1. No extras included – The Matt Smith Collection does not include any of the special features that have been released on other Doctor Who box sets.

2. Pricey – This collection retails for around $100, making it one of the more expensive Doctor Who box sets available.

3. Missing episodes – While this set includes all of Matt Smith’s episodes as the Eleventh Doctor, it does not include the Christmas Specials or other spin-off episodes featuring the character.
