My Experience for Minari

Ray Cooley

I recently watched Minari, and let me tell you, it was an incredible experience. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this movie will make you laugh, cry, and ultimately leave you feeling uplifted.

The story follows a Korean-American family who move to an Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. They face numerous challenges along the way, but ultimately come together as a family to overcome their adversities.

Steven Yeun absolutely shines as Jacob, the father of the family. His performance is heartfelt and powerful, and he perfectly captures the struggles his character goes through. You can’t help but root for him to succeed amidst all the difficulties that life throws at him.

The other characters are just as compelling – from the matriarch Monica (Yeri Han) to the adorable granddaughter Anne (Noel Cho) – each one unique and lovable in their own way.

If you’re looking for a movie that will make you feel something, then Minari is definitely worth your time. It’s a wonderful story about love, hope, and resilience that is sure to stay with you long after watching it.

Minari, a popular Asian vegetable, has become increasingly available in grocery stores and home gardens. As an edible root crop, Minari can be easily grown at home and is a great addition to your garden. Here are some tips on how to grow Minari in your own garden:

  1. Choose the Right Location. Minari grows best in well-drained soil with plenty of sun exposure. Plant it in a spot that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight per day.
  2. Prepare the Soil. Before planting Minari, prepare the soil by mixing compost into the top layer and tilling it up to make sure it is loose and well aerated.
  3. Plant the Seeds. Plant the seeds about 1/2 inch deep directly into the soil. Space them out by about 10 inches apart.
  4. Water Regularly. Water your Minari plants regularly, especially during dry spells. Make sure they are getting enough water but not too much.
  5. Harvest When Ready. You can start harvesting when the leaves look healthy and green – usually after about 6 weeks. Cut off the leaves first and then pull up the entire plant to remove it from the ground.
