2. Cons of Jojo Rabbit
1) Some may find it too lighthearted: While some people find the comedic elements of this movie refreshing, others may find them too lighthearted for such an important topic as World War II. It is important to note that this movie does not take away from the seriousness of the war, but instead uses comedy to help us empathize with those who experienced it.
2) Not enough focus on other characters: While Jojo is certainly the main character, there isn’t enough focus on some of the other characters and their motivations. This could have added more depth to the story, but unfortunately doesn’t get explored enough in the film.

How to Make Your Own Jojo Rabbit Costume

Are you a Jojo Rabbit fan, looking for an easy way to show your fandom? Why not make your own Jojo Rabbit costume? It’s easy and fun. All you need is some basic sewing skills and the following supplies:

-1 yard of white felt
-White thread
-Grey fabric paint
-Blue ribbon
-Black felt
-Scissors
-A Jojo Rabbit DVD or BluRay
-Stuffing (optional)

First, cut two identical circles out of the white felt that are about 2 inches in diameter. These will be the ears for your costume. Then, cut two strips of black felt that are about 1 inch wide and 6 inches long. Take one black strip and wrap it around the center of one white circle so that it looks like a bowtie. Sew the ends together securely with white thread. Repeat this process with the other white circle. Now, take both ears and sew them onto the top of a blue baseball cap or hat.

Next, use the grey fabric paint to draw bunny features onto the face area of your hat. The features should reflect those seen on Jojo Rabbit’s uniform in the movie. Finally, if desired, you can stuff the inside of your hat with stuffing material so that it takes on a more three-dimensional shape. And you’re done! All that’s left is to pop in your Jojo Rabbit DVD or BluRay and practice your favorite lines from the film while wearing your new costume!
