I never imagined that I would be a cat owner. All my life, I was a dog person. That all changed when I adopted Yon and Mu from the animal shelter. Watching them scamper around in their new home made me realize that cats can be just as lovable as dogs.

My first day with the cats was an experience! They were so curious about everything in their new home. As soon as I opened the door to their room, they both ran out to explore every corner of our house. They were particularly drawn to the windowsill, where they could watch birds outside and chase each other around.

Yon and Mu have become inseparable since then. Whenever one is not around, the other will search frantically until they find each other again. It’s like they communicate telepathically! Even when they are apart, they somehow know when it’s time to meet up again and reunite.

I’m so glad that I decided to adopt these two amazing cats! Junji Ito’s Cat Diary: Yon & Mu has been a great source of joy for me and my family. We really appreciate having them in our lives and we look forward to many more happy days together!
