My Experience for Dogma

I recently watched Dogma and it was absolutely hilarious! I’m not usually a fan of movies with religious satire, but this one struck all the right chords. The film follows two fallen angels on their quest to get back into Heaven after being exiled from it centuries ago.

Along the way they meet up with some otherworldly characters, including the 13th Apostle Rufus (Chris Rock) and an abortion clinic worker turned muse (Linda Fiorentino). My favorite scene is when they encounter a demon disguised as an old man who tries to tempt them with ice cream. It’s so absurdly funny that I couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

The cast is amazing too. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon do such a great job as Bartleby and Loki, you almost forget they’re brothers in real life. Salma Hayek is also great as the muse Serendipity and Alan Rickman is wonderfully sinister as Metatron, God’s messenger.

Dogma is a great movie for anyone looking for some good laughs, just make sure to keep an open mind about its controversial subject matter. I highly recommend it!
