My Experience for This is Spinal Tap

Ray Cooley

I recently watched This is Spinal Tap, and it was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen! It’s a mockumentary about a heavy metal band that goes on tour, but all sorts of misfortunes befall them along the way. The movie stars Rob Reiner, Michael McKean, and Christopher Guest as members of the band, and they are all hilarious.

The writing in this movie is incredibly clever and witty; there are so many great lines and jokes that it’s impossible to list them all. One of my favorites is when they visit Stonehenge, and Nigel (McKean) says “It’s like someone came here on a mission from God and he forgot what he was supposed to do.” I also loved the scene where they are discussing their amplifiers that go up to 11 instead of 10 – classic!

Overall, This is Spinal Tap is an absolute must-watch for anyone who loves comedy. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend picking up the DVD on Amazon. Trust me, it’s worth it.

What I don’t Like

1. Lacks special features, such as behind-the-scenes extras, interviews, and deleted scenes.
2. The quality of the video is poor, with some grainy picture and washed out colors.
3. It has no subtitles or captions for those who are hard of hearing.
4. The DVD does not include any additional material about the making of the film or cast commentary.
5. There is also no digital version available for purchase or streaming online.
