I have been a fan of Henri Charriere for many years, and his novel Papillon (P.S.) has always been my favorite. When I heard that it was released again on Amazon in a new edition, I just had to get it!

And I’m so glad I did – this new version is even better than the original! The story follows Henri’s incredible journey as he attempts to escape from a French penal colony in French Guiana after being wrongly convicted of murder. It’s exciting, thrilling and often humorous – there were times when I found myself laughing out loud at the ridiculousness of some of the situations Henri finds himself in!
