My Experience for Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle

Lloyd Kaufman

I’ve heard so much about Sarah Hogle’s Deserve Each Other, and finally I decided to pick up a copy. After reading the first few pages I knew this was going to be a book that I would love!

The story follows two friends, Naomi and Nicholas, who have been best friends since college but never realized they were in love with each other. With its smart dialogue and charming characters, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind romance of these two characters.

Naomi is a New York-based artist whose life revolves around her work and her relationships with her closest friends. She is passionate, driven and always looking for new ways to express herself through her art. On the other hand, Nicholas is an investment banker with a steady job and no time for romance. When their paths cross again after years apart, sparks begin to fly between them.

The story of Naomi and Nicholas’ journey from friendship to romance is full of laughs, tears, and lots of heartwarming moments. From their first kiss in Central Park to their unforgettable wedding day, it’s impossible not to fall in love with these two characters as you follow along on their journey of self-discovery.

I absolutely loved Deserve Each Other. It’s such a well-written story that will leave you feeling all kinds of emotions. If you’re looking for something sweet and romantic that will make you smile, then this book is definitely worth a read!

What I don’t Like

1. Lack of plot development: The plot of the book seems to be scattered and doesn’t really move forward.

2. Unrealistic characters: Some of the characters seem to be one-dimensional and not very believable.

3. Slow pacing: The story takes a while to get going, and it can feel like it drags at times.

4. Lack of depth in characterization: While the characters are interesting, they don’t have a lot of depth or background information.

5. Unsatisfactory ending: The ending feels abrupt and doesn’t provide much closure for the reader.
