My Experience for The Tortoise and the Hare

Lloyd Kaufman

Once upon a time there was a hare and a tortoise. The hare was always boasting about how fast he could run, so the tortoise challenged him to a race.

The hare laughed and said, “This will be no contest – I will beat you easily!” He took off as soon as the race started, while the tortoise slowly but steadily made his way across the track.

The hare, sure of his victory, stopped halfway through the race to take a nap. When he woke up he saw that the tortoise had already passed the finish line. Even though he raced as fast as he could, it was too late – the slow and steady tortoise won the race!

Moral of the story: Slow and steady wins the race!
