My Experience for The Grouchy Ladybug

Lloyd Kaufman

Once upon a time, there was a Grouchy Ladybug. She was always grumpy and never wanted to have any fun. Every day she would wake up and start her day with a scowl on her face.

One day, she decided to go for a walk in the park. On her way, she spotted some colorful flowers in full bloom. She thought to herself, “Hmm, these flowers look lovely!” But being the Grouchy Ladybug that she was, she scrunched up her face and kept walking.

As she walked further, she heard some birds chirping sweetly. She felt her heart soften as they sang their beautiful songs. But before she could enjoy it, the grouchiness inside her resurfaced and she quickly kept walking.

Suddenly, something sparkly caught her eye! She squinted closer and realized that it was a bunch of fireflies flying around in the air! She couldn’t help but smile as she watched them twinkle and dance in the night sky.

The Grouchy Ladybug had finally found something that made her happy! From then on, every evening she would take a walk in the park to admire the beauty of nature… until one day when she became less grouchy and more cheerful!
