“I just read Just Mercy by Michael B. Jordan and it was incredible! I had no idea what to expect going into it, but wow, it was an amazing experience. It tells the story of Walter McMillian (played by Michael B. Jordan in the movie adaptation) who is wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death for a murder he didn’t commit. Through the work of Bryan Stevenson (also played by Michael B. Jordan), we get to see the story of justice and mercy unfold.

The book really opened my eyes to the criminal justice system, and how unfair it can be. It’s heartbreaking, yet inspiring, to see how one man can make a difference in someone else’s life. What I love most about Just Mercy is that it isn’t afraid to tackle tough topics like racism and inequality head-on.
