My Experience for The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a novel by Mark Twain about the mischievous and adventurous boy, Tom Sawyer. It follows his escapades with his best friend, Huckleberry Finn, and their outrageous schemes to have fun in a small town on the Mississippi River.
I remember when I first read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. I was in awe as I followed Tom’s brave journey. He had such courage and wit! From running away from home to swimming across the river with his friend Huck, Tom could never sit still.
One of my favorite scenes was when Tom tricked his friends into whitewashing Aunt Polly’s fence for him. By offering up half his wealth (which really only amounted to a few pieces of candy) he was able to get out of doing the work himself, while still getting the reward at the end. It was genius!
But not all of Tom’s adventures were funny. When Injun Joe locked him and Huck in the cave, I was scared for them! Thankfully they managed to escape, but it wasn’t without danger.
At the end of this exciting story, Tom comes out victorious and learns some valuable lessons along the way. The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer is a classic that will entertain readers of all ages, and leave them wanting more!
What I don’t Like
Product Disadvantages:
1. Not suitable for young readers due to the use of racial language, irony and sarcasm.
2. The setting and characters are outdated which could make it difficult to relate to for modern readers.
3. In some cases, the story can be confusing due to its time period and references to religion.
4. The language can be challenging for some readers, especially those not familiar with 19th century American dialects.
