My Experience for Batman: Black Mirror

Lloyd Kaufman

I was so excited when I got my hands on the Batman: Black Mirror. It’s a must-have for any Batman fan, and I knew it wasn’t going to disappoint.

The story starts with Commissioner Gordon investigating a series of grisly murders that seem to be connected. He soon discovers that the murderer is none other than Bruce Wayne, who has developed an alternate persona. As Gordon tries to unravel the mystery behind Bruce’s transformation, he discovers a secret about his past that could change everything.

It’s a thrilling tale with plenty of twists and turns, and it really kept me on the edge of my seat. The artwork is beautiful too, with some truly amazing panels. I loved how Snyder captured the atmosphere and mood of Gotham City perfectly.

Overall, Batman: Black Mirror is an incredible read and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Batman comics!

What I don’t Like

1. Some readers find the story arc confusing at times.
2. The art style is not for everyone.
3. It’s a fairly dark, gritty take on Batman and the Gotham City universe.
4. The amount of violence depicted in some panels may be too extreme for some readers.
5. Despite its quality, it’s not considered to be part of the official canon by DC Comics.
6. It doesn’t offer much insight into Bruce Wayne’s psyche or character development.
7. Its length can make it feel like a rushed conclusion at times.
