My name is Taylor Hawkins and I am an award-winning drummer, songwriter, and producer. As a drummer, I have toured with some of the biggest names in music, including Foo Fighters and Queen + Adam Lambert. I’m also known for my work as a producer and songwriter for artists such as Paul McCartney and Beck.

I was born in Fort Worth, Texas but moved to California at a young age. Growing up, I was heavily influenced by jazz music, which led me to pursue a career in music. I attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where I studied drums and percussion. After graduating from MI, I began touring with various bands before eventually joining Foo Fighters in 1997.

Since then, I have gone on to achieve many accolades throughout my career. In 2011, I won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. In 2017, I was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Foo Fighters.
