My first encounter with The Boxtrolls was a magical one! When I saw the trailer, I was absolutely blown away. I had never seen anything like it before. The story and animation were so captivating and creative, I knew right away that this movie was a must-watch for my family.
The movie follows the adventures of Eggs, a young orphan boy who lives amongst Boxtrolls, who are quirky creatures made from discarded boxes. With help from his human friends Winnie and her dad, Eggs embarks on an epic journey to save the Boxtrolls from the villainous Archibald Snatcher.
I loved watching The Boxtrolls because it is full of heartwarming moments, fun characters, and never ending surprises. There’s even a few musical numbers thrown in! Plus, you can’t beat the amazing voice cast which includes actors like Ben Kingsley, Elle Fanning, Tracy Morgan and Simon Pegg.
The Boxtrolls is an absolute must-see for anyone looking for a fantastical adventure full of laughter and excitement. It’s definitely one of my favorite movies to watch with my family and we always have such a great time!
