My Experience for The Canterbury Tales

Lloyd Kaufman

Once upon a time, I decided to go on a journey and so I went out in search of adventure. Little did I know that my journey would lead me to The Canterbury Tales. Along the way, I met many interesting people who were also travelling to Canterbury. We traded stories and I was fascinated by the tales they had to tell.

One of the stories that really stuck with me was about an old man who had been transformed into a young man by magical means. Another story that left a lasting impression was about a knight who was determined to prove his worthiness through chivalry and honor. As we shared these tales, our journey became more enjoyable and filled with delight.

When we finally arrived at Canterbury, we stopped for refreshments and entertainment at an inn. It was here that I discovered The Canterbury Tales, an amazing collection of stories written by Geoffrey Chaucer. I immediately bought my own copy and this would be my companion during the rest of my travels.

From that day forward, I never forgot the lessons those tales taught me: courage, loyalty, justice and humility will always prevail in the end!
