Every day, Sam would set up his stand on the street corner and sing his song all day long. One day, as he was singing, something strange happened. A group of monkeys came out from the nearby forest and started playing with all of Sam’s caps! They were throwing them in the air, tossing them around, and even trying them on their heads!

Sam was so angry that he began yelling at the monkeys. But they just laughed and kept playing with his caps. Finally, Sam realized that he needed to be creative if he wanted to get rid of those pesky monkeys. So he started singing a new song: “Monkeys for sale! Fifty cents a monkey!”

The monkeys stopped playing with the caps and instead ran to see what Sam had to offer. They saw him holding several ropes, each tied to a small wooden box. The monkeys immediately assumed that these boxes must contain other monkeys, and they started arguing amongst themselves about which one should buy it first.
