I’m not going to lie—I was intimidated at first. I had never cooked anything quite like this before and I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. But, after some trial and error, I slowly began to get the hang of it. Soon enough, I was whipping up Korean-style feasts for my friends and family!

One of my favorite recipes from this cookbook is Gyeran Mari. It’s an egg roll dish that is surprisingly simple to make yet tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen. Plus, it’s really pretty when you cut into it!

When I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll try out one of the more complicated recipes like Japchae Noodles. It’s a bit time-consuming but the flavor payoff is definitely worth it. Not only is it a great main course, but it also makes for a tasty side dish too.
