The story starts off with Matt Murdock being broken down by Kingpin and losing everything he worked so hard for. It was heart-wrenching seeing him go through all that turmoil and it made me appreciate his strength even more.

Throughout this graphic novel, Frank Miller does an amazing job weaving together a story filled with suspense, action and drama. He really brings the characters to life in such a way that you feel like you’re living their journey with them.

I especially enjoyed how Miller portrayed Daredevil as a hero despite his struggle with depression and addiction. It was inspiring to read about how he manages to overcome his inner demons and still fight for justice in New York City.
