My Experience for Dead Poets Society

Lloyd Kaufman

Dead Poets Society is a classic movie that I love to watch. It’s inspiring, funny, and heartwarming all at the same time!

One of my favorite scenes in the movie takes place on a sun-drenched day when the students are discussing poetry. They talk about how the words evoke emotions and memories, and how these can be used to communicate with each other.

I was particularly struck by one of Professor Keating’s lines: “No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.” This line made me realize how powerful words can be.

As I watched the movie again recently, I noticed something else: it’s packed with beautiful cinematography. Every shot is carefully composed and lit to create a stunning visual experience. The colors, textures, and movement of the camera make every scene memorable.

I also appreciate that this movie has compelling characters who have real depth and emotion. Each character has their own unique story arc which makes them feel alive and believable.

All in all, Dead Poets Society is a timeless classic that I believe everyone should watch at least once in their lifetime. With its inspiring message of individualism, its stunning visuals, and its strong characters, it truly is an unforgettable experience.

3. No commentary: There is no commentary track included with the DVD release.

4. Missing deleted scenes: Several deleted scenes from the theatrical release are not present on the DVD.
