My Experience for Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid: Rowley Jefferson’s Journal

Lloyd Kaufman

Today was a great day! I went to the park with my best friend and had so much fun. We played tag, flew kites, and even shared some of our favorite snacks. It was so much fun that we stayed until after dark! We also watched a beautiful sunset together, which made me feel so lucky to have such an awesome friend.

We also talked about all kinds of things from school to movies. For example, I told him about my dream of becoming an actor one day, and he said he wanted to become a famous artist. We agreed that it would be really cool if we could both reach our dreams someday.

After we finished talking, we decided to go for a walk along the beach. It was such a peaceful experience; we just enjoyed the sound of the waves crashing against the shore and feeling the sand between our toes. We even spotted some dolphins in the ocean!

At the end of our walk, we stopped and looked up at the stars. I started to wish on all of them that I would have more days like this with my best friend. Even though today was an awesome day, I’m sure there will be even more amazing days ahead!
