“Oh, what do I have here? Dragon Ball Vol. 1, by none other than Akira Toriyama? Sounds like a winner! I eagerly opened up the cover and was immediately mesmerized by all of the colorful illustrations inside. I was transported back to my childhood, when I used to spend hours dreaming of the adventures of Goku and his friends.

The book follows Goku’s journey as he searches for the seven mystical Dragon Balls. Along the way, he meets plenty of new friends and foes alike, from Piccolo to Yamcha. One of my favorite parts was when Goku learns how to fly on a Nimbus cloud. Nothing could stop him now!
