Create loops. One trick is to use 2 long straightaways facing each other with 2 long curves at the ends. Add shorter curved tracks in between these two pieces until you have a complete loop.

You can also make hills and valleys by using a few short straightaway pieces and placing them at different heights. Then add several curved tracks in between them to fill out the hill or valley.

Once your basic structure is done, start adding bridges and tunnels. Make sure to position them correctly so that your trains can pass through properly.

Last but not least, add some scenery like trees or rocks. You can even customize your tracks further by adding signs or other decorations.
