My Experience for Flipped

Ray Cooley

I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about the movie Flipped. But after watching it, I could not help but fall in love with the story.

The movie follows the story of two eighth-graders, Juli and Bryce, who have completely different perspectives on life as they are growing up. It’s quite a rollercoaster ride to see how their views clash and ultimately come together in the end.

My favorite part of the movie was when Juli finally flips her view of Bryce and realizes that he is not the ogre she thought him to be. She soon learns that his outwardly rough exterior hides a warm and sensitive soul, which is something that everyone can relate to.

Although there was some humor sprinkled throughout the movie, what really made me laugh were some of the misadventures that Juli and Bryce found themselves in while trying to figure out who they were and how they fit into this world. One of my favorite scenes was when Juli tries to make her own grape juice from frozen concentrate, only for it to turn out tasting like vinegar!

Overall, I found Flipped to be an incredibly heartwarming experience. There are so many lessons about relationships and life that are presented in an honest and unique way. If you’re looking for a funny yet thoughtful movie experience, Flipped is definitely one you should check out!
