My Experience for The Foot Book: Dr. Seuss’s Wacky Book of Opposites

Lloyd Kaufman

Once upon a time, I was looking for a book to help my child with opposites. That’s when I found The Foot Book: Dr. Seuss’s Wacky Book of Opposites!

It was love at first sight! I loved the bright colors, the simple illustrations and of course, the fun rhyming words that Dr. Seuss is known for. My daughter was just as excited as me and couldn’t wait to start reading it!

As soon as we opened it up, she was eager to learn about all kinds of opposites: big and small, up and down, in and out. With her newfound knowledge, she started making up her own silly sentences like “The tall balloon flew low in the sky” or “The thin hot dog ate the fat donut.”

It wasn’t long before my daughter had mastered all the opposites in The Foot Book: Dr. Seuss’s Wacky Book of Opposites! She loves to show off her new skills by pointing out different things around the house and telling us which opposite they are.

I’m so glad I found this book; it’s been such a great learning tool for my daughter!
