My Experience for Girlfriends in Kindergarten: American and International Student Experiences

When I was in Kindergarten, I had the best girlfriend! She was from a different country and sometimes our cultures clashed, but we still managed to get along. We were constantly learning about each other’s lifestyles and customs, and it was so much fun. From playing tag together on the playground to exchanging stories about our families, we were always having a good time.

One of my favorite memories with her is when we decided to make international snacks for our classmates. She brought some traditional treats from her home country and I brought some classic American snacks. Everyone loved trying out all the new flavors and textures! Even though it was hard to share at first, we both ended up with more than enough of our favorite snacks by the end of the day.

Another time, we decided to have an international dress-up day. She wore traditional clothing from her country and I wore something that represented America. We couldn’t stop laughing as we showed off our outfits to each other. We even taught our classmates a few dance moves from both countries!

My friend and I had so much fun during Kindergarten because of our international friendship! From learning about different cultures to creating amazing memories, it was an unforgettable experience. We both gained knowledge about life in different parts of the world that you can’t find in a textbook.
