My Experience for I Am a Cat (Tuttle Classics)

Lloyd Kaufman

My name is Cat. I’m a mischievous and independent being who loves to explore the world around me.

I love sitting in the sun and watching the birds, chasing after butterflies, and stalking mice. It’s quite fun!

I also like to sneak into people’s houses, just to check out what they’re doing. And of course, I love to get petted and snuggle up on laps for a nap.

Sometimes, I come across some interesting places when I’m out exploring. I recently stumbled upon an old abandoned building that was filled with mysterious items. I found a dusty old book on one of the shelves – it was I Am a Cat (Tuttle Classics).

The book was written by renowned Japanese author Soseki Natsume and it has been translated into English by Tuttle Classics. The story is about a curious cat who goes around observing people, their behavior, and their relationships with each other – all from the perspective of a feline! It’s an interesting read that captures the essence of cats in words and pictures.

I highly recommend reading this book if you want to learn more about cats like me!

What I don’t Like

1.The translation is outdated – This book was first published in 1906, and the translation has not been updated since then.

2.It doesn’t contain a lot of illustrations – There are only a few illustrations throughout the text.

3.It’s a bit difficult to understand – Due to its old-fashioned language, some parts of the book can be hard to comprehend.

4. It’s quite long – The book is over 200 pages long and may be too much for some readers to tackle at once.
