My Experience for Ice Princess (Widescreen Edition)

I have always been a huge fan of Disney movies and when I heard about Ice Princess, I had to give it a try! After all, who doesn’t love the classic story of an underdog overcoming their obstacles to achieve greatness?

When I first put the disc in my DVD player, I was immediately taken away by the beautiful visuals. Every scene was so breathtakingly gorgeous and transported me right into the movie. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with the characters and their journey towards success.

The story follows Casey, a science geek who has a passion for figure skating. After her mother’s death, she decides to start following her dreams and starts training for figure skating competitions. With the help of her coach and friends, she sets out on a mission to become an ice princess.

As you can imagine, there is drama along the way as she faces off against her rival Gen and strives to overcome her own self-doubts. But as we all know, hard work pays off and Casey eventually achieves her goal.

I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves Disney movies or just wants something inspiring to watch. The visuals are stunning and the story will leave you feeling empowered!

What I don’t Like

1. Poor special effects (especially in the ice-skating scenes)
2. Weak script with a lot of clichéd dialogue
3. Some unnecessary and cheesy subplots
4. Not enough character development
5. Unconvincing teenage romance
6. Overly preachy moral messages

Whether they want to be one of the skaters or the ice queen, with a little creativity and some materials, you can create an amazing costume that will make them look like royalty!

What You Need:

• Ice Princess (Widescreen Edition)
• White fabric
• Silver glitter fabric
• Hot glue gun
• Elastic
• Scissors
• Ribbons
• Feather Boa

Steps:

1. Watch the Widescreen Edition of Ice Princess with your child and determine what type of costume she would like. The costumes vary greatly depending on which character your child chooses.
2. Purchase white fabric for the main body of the dress. The amount of fabric needed depends on how long and wide you want the dress to be; generally 2 yards will do.

4. Cut out pieces of white fabric according to measurements taken from your child. Sew all pieces together but leave openings for elastic at bottom of skirt, wrist and neckline.
