My Experience for If I Ran the Zoo (Classic Seuss)
My name is John, and if I ran the zoo, it would be like no other zoo you’ve ever seen before. I’d have all sorts of strange creatures, from the near to the far. I’d have an enormous elephant-cat and a ten-legged jarjar bee!
I’d bring in some giant fuzzles and an orange-striped icky-ack. And don’t forget the Lizzard of Wizzle, he’s sure to be a blast!
My zoo would even feature a four-headed furry hoozel. He’s really quite cute when he starts to snoozel. And he makes funny noises as he bounces around, but his four heads can never agree on what sound.
Then there’s my favorite animal of them all, the meep that lives deep inside the Zoo Wall. This magnificent creature has four eyes and three teeth, not to mention the fact that it glows beneath!
And last but certainly not least, there will be something special just for me: A Moof with a Hoof. This creature will come out every night and sing me sweet songs about life and love. It’ll keep me company through dark and stormy nights, reminding me that anything is possible with a little bit of faith.
