My Experience for Julie & Julia (Blu-ray)

I used to think that I was a decent cook, but then I watched Julie & Julia. The movie stars Meryl Streep as the legendary chef Julia Child, and Amy Adams as Julie Powell, the blogger who set out to make all of the recipes in Child’s cookbook in one year.

After watching it, I suddenly realized that I had no idea what I was doing! My meals were nothing compared to the masterpieces created by these two women. I started reading more about cooking and even bought Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking, determined to become a better chef.

I soon found myself recreating many of the dishes from the movie, but with my own spin on them. It was so much fun to watch my family devour each new dish, and enjoy every bite! When they asked me where I learned to cook like this, I proudly said “Julie & Julia”

It turns out that watching Julie & Julia inspired me to become an incredible chef and host amazing dinner parties for my friends and family. I can’t believe how much my cooking has improved since watching the movie, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to cook like a pro!
