My friends and I were looking for something funny to watch on a Saturday night, when I stumbled across Juwanna Mann. It looked like an interesting movie so we decided to give it a try. I’m glad we did!
The movie follows Jamal Jeffries (Miguel Nunez Jr.), who is a basketball star that gets kicked out of the NBA after a public humiliation. He then hatches a plan to join the WUBA, the Women’s United Basketball Association, as Juwanna Mann. What follows is an hilarious adventure where Jamal must learn how to be a woman and play in the WUBA.
I was constantly laughing throughout the entire movie. There were so many funny moments that my stomach hurt from laughing too hard! From his interactions with his new female teammates, to his attempts at learning how to walk in high heels – there was never a dull moment!
Juwanna Mann was definitely worth watching and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something lighthearted and fun.
