Ray Cooley

When I first heard about Kate & Allie: The Complete Series, I was so excited to finally get my hands on it. As two single working moms living together in 1980s New York City, Kate and Allie were the best of friends who supported each other through life’s ups and downs. Watching their adventures unfold over the course of six seasons was always a delight.

The show was full of funny moments – like when Kate tried to teach Allie how to drive or when they both went out for a night of karaoke – but it also taught valuable lessons. From learning to be independent to dealing with family issues, these two best friends gave us an honest look at navigating life in the city as women.
