Step 1: Gather Your Materials. Before you begin building your LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter, make sure that you have all of the pieces included in the set. You should have 313 pieces in total, including three minifigures of Darth Vader, an Imperial Pilot and an Imperial Officer. Once you have all of the pieces, it’s time to start building!

Step 2: Assemble the Main Frame. The first step in building your LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter is to assemble the main frame. Start by connecting four black Technic pins with axles in between them. Next, attach two Technic lift arms to each side of the frame. Then, add six more Technic lift arms around the perimeter of the frame and secure them with Technic pins. Finally, attach two 2×4 plates to each side of the frame and two 2×3 plates at the front and back for added stability.
