I recently watched Madea’s Big Happy Family, and it was one of the funniest plays I’ve seen in a while! Madea is always hilarious, but this time she had me rolling with laughter. It starts off with her surprise visit to her niece Shirley’s house. She quickly learns that Shirley’s family is having some issues, so she takes matters into her own hands and helps them all come together as a happy family.

The play is full of ridiculous and outrageous moments, like when Madea gets stuck in an armchair for two hours because she got too comfortable. I also loved when Madea gave out the rules of her house: “No smoking, no drinking, and no talking about stuff you ain’t got!” I think everyone can relate to that!
