My Experience for Me & Lee: How I Came to Know, Love and Lose Lee Harvey Oswald

Lloyd Kaufman

My name is Lee and I had a unique relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald. We met when I was a young girl, living in the same small town of New Orleans.

It was an unlikely friendship that started with a chance meeting at the local library. He was studying Russian and I was trying to learn Spanish. We would often spend time talking about our lives, our hopes and dreams, and our respective interests in foreign languages.

Eventually, we became close friends and he even began to tutor me in Russian. We spent hours poring over books, discussing theories and philosophies, and he even helped me to understand the nuances of Soviet culture.

We were like two peas in a pod – both passionate about learning and exploring new cultures – but unfortunately our relationship suddenly ended one day when Lee moved away to pursue his dream of becoming a mariner.

I was devastated by the news; it felt like a part of my soul had been ripped out. But eventually I realized that Lee’s pursuit was admirable and that I should be proud of him for chasing his dreams and fulfilling his ambitions. His memory lives on in my heart, and I am forever grateful for our time together.

3. Although the book is well-researched, there are some inconsistencies in the timeline and facts presented that detract from its overall credibility.
