They face numerous challenges along the way, but ultimately come together as a family to overcome their adversities. Steven Yeun absolutely shines as Jacob, the father of the family. His performance is heartfelt and powerful, and he perfectly captures the struggles his character goes through. You can’t help but root for him to succeed amidst all the difficulties that life throws at him. The other characters are just as compelling – from the matriarch Monica (Yeri Han) to the adorable granddaughter Anne (Noel Cho) – each one unique and lovable in their own way. If you’re looking for a movie that will make you feel something, then Minari is definitely worth your time. It’s a wonderful story about love, hope, and resilience that is sure to stay with you long after watching it.
