When I first heard about My Hero Academia, Vol. 1, I was intrigued. After all, superheroes are everywhere these days, and it seemed like an interesting concept for a manga. So I decided to give it a try — and boy am I glad I did!
My Hero Academia is the story of Izuku Midoriya, an average middle school student who dreams of becoming a superhero despite having no superpowers himself. He gets his chance when Japan’s greatest hero, All Might, takes him under his wing and teaches him how to use his own strength and determination to become something more than just an average person.
As he begins his training, Izuku must learn to control his newfound power and find out what it truly means to be a hero. Along the way he meets powerful allies and fearsome enemies as he struggles to protect those around him from villains both big and small.
My Hero Academia Vol. 1 is full of captivating characters, exciting action sequences, and plenty of comedy that make it an absolute blast to read. The artwork is also top-notch; each panel is filled with intricate details that bring the story to life.
