I was so thrilled when I found out that the National Treasure, starring Nicolas Cage, had finally been released in a widescreen version. As soon as I received my copy, I popped it into the DVD player and settled in for an evening of adventure.

The movie follows Benjamin Franklin Gates (played by Cage) on his quest to find the lost treasure of the Knights Templar. With a map of hidden clues, he must travel all over the world with his team to discover the truth behind this legendary wealth. Along the way, they face off against a group of bad guys who are also after the same fortune.

The action scenes were thrilling and filled with suspense. Every time I thought that things couldn’t get any crazier, they did! It was like watching an Indiana Jones movie on steroids. The special effects were great and really added to the excitement of each scene.
