I was recently in the market for a DJ controller and I stumbled across the new Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV7. It had everything I was looking for: two decks, easy software integration and the perfect size for my laptop. I’m so glad I chose this one!
At first, I was a bit overwhelmed by all of its features – 8 Hot Cues, 4 Beat FX and 2 Sound Color FX to name a few – but once I got the hang of it, it was like riding a bike! The jogwheels are especially amazing; they’re so sensitive that you can really fine-tune your mix. And the color-coded pads make it incredibly easy to access all the great features without having to dive into menus.
The DDJ-REV7 has been an absolute game changer for my sets. Now I’m able to bring out complex and intricate transitions that keep my audiences on their feet! Not to mention all of the customization options available with Rekordbox. I can’t wait to see what else this little powerhouse will be able to do once I start unlocking its full potential.
