I recently watched Pixels (DVD) and I must say, it was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a while!
The movie stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad. The story follows Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), who is an arcade game expert and former champion gamer. He discovers that aliens are attacking Earth using video game characters from classic arcade games as their weapons. He teams up with his childhood friends, Ludlow Lamonsoff (Kevin James), Eddie Plant (Peter Dinklage) and Lieutenant Colonel Violet Van Patten (Michelle Monaghan). Together they must come up with a plan to save the world from alien invasion.

The special effects were amazing and the jokes were hilarious! The best part about this movie for me was seeing all the classic arcade games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and Centipede come to life on the big screen. Watching these iconic characters fight off the alien invaders was truly amazing! Every time they used a classic gaming move to defeat the aliens, I felt like I was right there with them.
