I was so excited when I first heard about Queer as Folk – Season 1. It had been such a long-awaited release for me and my friends, so I had to get it. As soon as I got the DVD, I couldn’t wait to start watching it.

The show was everything I thought it would be and more. From drama to comedy, the show had it all. One of my favorite characters was Brian Kinney, played by Gale Harold. His character was sexy, funny, and often quite outrageous. He really brought the show alive!

Another thing that made Queer as Folk so unique was its explicit scenes. It wasn’t afraid to talk about sex and love in a very honest way, which made it stand out from other shows of its time.
