It was the 30th anniversary edition of Sandman Volume 1: Preludes & Nocturnes and I was excited to open it. I had been a fan of the comic series since I first read it years ago, so when I heard about this special edition, I just had to get my hands on it!
I opened up the book and was immediately struck by the beautiful artwork and illustrations. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into making this edition something extra special. The colors were vibrant and the characters were brought to life in an entirely new way.
The story was just as captivating as it ever was. Every page was filled with suspense, horror and mystery. It was like stepping back in time to revisit one of my favorite stories all over again.
What really made this 30th Anniversary Edition stand out though, were the extras included at the end of the volume. There were behind-the-scenes sketches, concept art, interviews with some of the original creators, plus a whole host of other things that made this edition such a treat for fans old and new alike.
