When I first heard the news that Smokey and The Bandit Special Edition DVD was coming out, I thought it was going to be a run-of-the-mill re-release. Little did I know what I was in for! Not only does this edition of the classic movie feature an all-star cast including Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, and Jackie Gleason, but also some never before seen footage and interviews with the original cast members.

I had so much fun watching this special edition of Smokey and The Bandit. The extra features were especially enjoyable – they added lots of nostalgia to the film with behind-the-scenes stories, deleted scenes, and interviews with Burt Reynolds. It’s like getting two movies in one!
