It’s the perfect day for a Snow Day. I’m ready to break out my snowshoes and head outside, but first I have to watch the classic movie Snow Day (2000) [VHS]. This movie stars Chevy Chase and is sure to make me laugh.
The plot is simple enough: when a massive snowstorm hits a small town, all of the kids are released from school for the day. From snowball fights to sledding down hillsides, this movie captures all the fun things you can do when it snows outside. But the real adventure begins when two kids try to figure out how to stop the local bully from ruining their snow day.
The special effects are surprisingly good for a movie that was made in 2000, and there are plenty of hilarious jokes that will keep adults entertained too. And even though it’s a movie about snow days, I still find myself wanting to go outside afterwards and get some fresh air.
If you’re looking for a classic family comedy with a bit of nostalgia, then Snow Day (2000) [VHS] is definitely worth watching.
