I was feeling lost, confused and unsure of my future until I picked up The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, Book 2). It’s the second book in the Heroes of Olympus series, and it had me captivated from the very first page.

I followed Percy Jackson and his friends through their journey to fight the giant Polybotes, who is determined to destroy Camp Jupiter and all of its inhabitants. As they search for allies and face their greatest fears, I was drawn into an amazing story that kept me on the edge of my seat.

The Son of Neptune has it all – action, adventure, fear, friendship and a chance for redemption. It made me laugh, cry, cheer and gasp with surprise as I watched Percy battle monsters from Greek mythology and make unlikely alliances with Roman gods.

In the end, I was so proud of what Percy had accomplished that I wanted to jump up and yell “Victory!” It’s not just a great read; it’s an inspiring tale that will leave you feeling empowered.
