My Experience for Stone Soup (Aladdin Picture Books)

Lloyd Kaufman

Once upon a time, there was a hungry traveler who arrived at a small village. The villagers were very suspicious of the stranger and had hidden away all their food. The traveler was disappointed but determined to prove his worth.

“I can make Stone Soup!” he declared. He filled an old pot with water and set it over the fire. Then he placed a large stone in the pot and began stirring it slowly.

The curious villagers gathered around, wondering what was going on.

“Ahh, this is Stone Soup. It’s delicious!” said the traveler as he stirred the pot. “It just needs a little something to give it flavor.”
One by one, the villagers began adding ingredients they had hidden away – carrots, potatoes, onions, and spices – until the soup was rich and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed a steaming bowl of Stone Soup and realized that working together made for a better meal than apart!

What I don’t Like

1.Limited illustrations: This version of Stone Soup has limited illustrations, so readers may not find it as visually appealing as other versions.

2.Non-durable paper: The paper used in this edition of Stone Soup is not very durable and can tear easily if handled roughly.

3.Confusing ending: Some readers may find the ending of the story to be a bit confusing and may need help understanding it.

4.Not suitable for young children: Since the language used in this version of Stone Soup is quite complex, it may not be suitable for very young children.
