Knives Out (DVD) [Review]
Knives Out is an immensely satisfying mystery-thriller that features a stellar cast and a riveting story. Directed by Rian Johnson, the film stars Daniel Craig, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas in a whodunnit game of cat and mouse. With its cleverly crafted twisty plot, witty dialogue and stunning cinematography, Knives Out will keep you guessing until the very end.
The movie follows the murder of wealthy crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer). After his untimely death, renowned detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is recruited to investigate the case. As he interviews the suspects one by one, Blanc begins to unravel the complicated web of lies that surrounds the Thrombey estate. Along the way, he must contend with a family full of secrets, lies and suspicious alibis.
Knives Out provides plenty of thrills and suspense as Blanc works to uncover the truth behind Harlan’s murder. The stellar cast of actors bring their A-game to every scene, creating a mesmerizing ensemble performance that will leave you guessing until the very end.
