Howl’s Moving Castle (2-Disc Special Edition) is an absolute must-have for any anime fan. Studio Ghibli has created one of the most beautiful, heartwarming and magical films to ever grace the screen and this two-disc special edition really does it justice. The movie follows the story of a young girl named Sophie who is transformed into an old woman by a witch’s curse. She embarks on a journey to break the curse and meets some incredible characters along the way, including Howl, a mysterious wizard who lives in a magical castle that moves around on giant bird feet. The visuals are stunning, with every frame lovingly crafted and bursting with color and detail. The soundtrack is also outstanding, featuring wonderful compositions from Joe Hisaishi. The two-disc set includes both the Japanese and English soundtracks, as well as plenty of special features such as interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and more.
