Monsters vs Aliens is a fun and entertaining movie that will take you on an adventure with some of your favorite characters. Featuring the voices of Seth Rogen, Reese Witherspoon, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland, and Hugh Laurie, this movie is sure to please. The animation is smooth and detailed, as well as creative and engaging. The story follows Susan Murphy who gets hit by a meteorite on her wedding day and gains incredible size-changing powers. Now known as “Ginormica,” she must battle other monsters sent from outer space to save Earth from certain destruction. With plenty of action, laughs, and heartwarming moments, Monsters vs Aliens is a great movie for the whole family.
The DVD extras are also worth noting. Along with the usual audio commentaries and deleted scenes, there are also several interactive games available. There’s also a featurette about the creation of the monsters that goes more in-depth than any other DVD special feature I’ve come across. All in all, Monsters vs Aliens is an enjoyable experience for kids and adults alike. If you’re looking for an animated film that’s funny and full of heart, then look no further.
